| Parallel Backup |

| REO boosts backup window by running parallel streams of
backup, allowing more servers to be backed up concurrently.
Slow servers or servers with multiple small files are often
backup bottlenecks which will retard even the fastest tape
drives. This causes other backup jobs to stall behind these
slow servers. The REO is able to emulate multiple virtual
drives by accepting concurrent streams of backup and
reducing backup windows. |
